The Triceratops

A long, long time ago when dinosaurs ruled the earth, there was a mean old Triceratops that crushed everything in its path. One day, a Parasaurolophus was wading in the lake. The next thing you know, out pops the mean old Triceratops, and if it weren't for the Parasaurolophus' fast legs, the Parasaurolophus would have been crushed! That angered the Triceratops. He charged and charged and he charged, until he was so dizzy that he fell to the ground. And then everybody in the forest had a party.

The Jaguarundi

The Jaguarundi is a 1-foot-long mammal that hunts fish. The jaguarundi is endangered because of Guatemalan forest destruction. So we need lots of help to save them.

The Kinkajou

The kinkajou is a 1-foot-long member of the raccoon family. Kinkajous are not endangered although hunters hunth them for fur and meat. But they are not good pets because they will attack you after many years.

The Agouti

The Agouti is a big rodent, I mean 2 feet long big! It eats nuts, as well as other things. It walks on its toes, not its feet, like other rodents, and some are endangered.

Leafy Sea Dragon

That underwater bush is moving! It's the leafy sea dragon. Leafy sea dragons look like a bush shaped like a sea horse. Leafy sea dragons eat tiny crustaceans and are listed as nearly endangered.  Be careful when you swim in Australia because you could kill them.

The Blob Fish

Although it has no use to fishermen, the blobfish is endangered by... fishermen! The blobfish looks like a blob of silly putty. They grow to 12 inches and live in southeast Austraila. The animal's diet is plankton.
